MJM Manufacturing has fabricated precision sheet metal in Florida since 1979. We run a 44,000 square foot plant in Miami Gardens with more than 80 employees, and we supply over 600 active customers across the state and the rest of the country.

What Runs On Our Floor
Capacity is what separates a fabricator from a job shop. Ours is built around Amada laser systems and an unusually deep welding department.
Five Amada Laser Systems
One of the largest laser fleets in South Florida. CO2, Ensis, and Ventis platforms covering thin gauge through heavy plate.
Nine IPG 2kW Fiber Laser Welders
Fiber laser welding produces a narrow heat affected zone, which means less distortion and far less grinding on cosmetic assemblies.
CNC Press Brakes
Precision forming with offline programming. Bend deduction worked out before the part reaches the brake, not at the machine.
Automated Optical Inspection
An Amada Fabri-Vision system measures flat patterns against the CAD model, so dimensional problems get caught at the first operation.
Hardware and Assembly
PEM insertion, riveting, mechanical assembly, and kitting. Parts leave here ready to install.
Machining Support
Secondary machining for features that cannot be produced in sheet metal alone.

Where We Deliver in Florida
We fabricate in Miami Gardens and ship statewide. Most Florida destinations are a one day ground transit from our dock, which is the practical reason to keep this work in state rather than moving it to the Midwest or offshore.
South Florida
Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach. Same day and next day delivery on most orders, and we run our own deliveries when a schedule demands it.
Central Florida
Orlando, Lakeland, and the Space Coast. One day ground freight, with regular programs running to the I-4 corridor.
Tampa Bay and Southwest
Tampa, St. Petersburg, Sarasota, and Fort Myers. One day ground freight.
North Florida
Jacksonville, Gainesville, Ocala, and Tallahassee. One to two day ground freight depending on carrier and drop.

The Case for In State
Why a Florida Supplier Is Worth the Line Item
Piece price is the number everyone compares. It is rarely the number that decides whether a program is profitable.
Freight from a Florida shop to a Florida plant is a fraction of what it costs to bring the same parts in from the Midwest, and it does not carry the two to four week ocean transit, customs exposure, or tariff risk that comes with offshore sourcing. When a print revision lands, we requote in days rather than weeks. When something needs to be looked at in person, you can drive to us.
The other half of it is inventory. Long lead times force you to buy ahead, and parts bought ahead sit on your floor as working capital. Shortening the supply line lets you carry less. We wrote up the full arithmetic on our total landed cost breakdown.

Getting Started
What to Send With an RFQ
A complete package gets you a firm number faster. Send a STEP or DXF file for geometry, a dimensioned PDF showing critical features and tolerances, material and finish callouts, and the quantities you actually plan to order including any annual release estimate. If the part is a revision of something you are buying today, tell us what you pay now and where the current supplier is falling short.
If the design is not frozen, send it anyway. We would rather flag a feature that will drive cost while you can still change it. Our design for manufacturability guide and tolerance standards cover most of what comes up, and our bend deduction calculators are open to anyone.
