A custom enclosure is more than a folded box — it’s a precision assembly that has to protect what’s inside, fit its components exactly, meet finish and cosmetic requirements, and often satisfy demanding industry certifications. MJM Manufacturing designs and fabricates custom sheet metal enclosures end to end: laser cutting, forming, welding, hardware insertion, finishing, and inspection — all under one roof and one AS9100 quality system.
That means you don’t coordinate five vendors for one enclosure. You send drawings to one team that takes the project from prototype through production, with a single point of accountability. Our engineering team reviews every enclosure for manufacturability before production — catching fit, tolerance, and cost issues early.

How It’s Made
Every Process In-House
A complete enclosure touches nearly every process we run — and we run them all under one roof:
Laser cutting of panels and parts on 5 Amada fiber lasers (±0.005″). CNC forming on 9 Amada press brakes for precise, repeatable bends. Welding — including 9 IPG fiber laser welders for clean, low-distortion seams, plus certified TIG/MIG. Hardware insertion of PEM fasteners, standoffs, and studs on Haeger and automated presses. Finishing — powder coat, anodize, plating (coordinated), plus in-house silk screening, laser marking, and deburring. Inspection with optical measurement and CMM under our AS9100 system, with FAI and material certs available.
